A legacy of khidmat
Faize Husaini Kenya is the Kenyan chapter of Faiz-e-Husaini, the ziyarat organisation of the Dawoodi Bohra community. We serve mumineen of the Nairobi and Mombasa jamaats under the guidance of the Amil Saheb and with the raza of Aqa Moula TUS.

Faiz-e-Husaini is founded
Established under the 48th Dai al-Mutlaq, Syedna Abdulhusain Husamuddin RA, to carry mumineen to the ziyarat of Imam Husain AS.
- 1800s
Mumineen on the Kenyan coast
Dawoodi Bohra families settle in Mombasa and Lamu, trading across the Indian Ocean and building the first masjids.
- 1984
Nairobi grows
Madrasah Saifiyah Burhaniyah opens in Nairobi; Saifee Park becomes the heart of the community.

Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah, Nairobi
Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA inaugurates the Nairobi campus of Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah.

Kenya qafilas to Karbala
Faize Husaini Kenya leads Easter and August qafilas to Karbala and Najaf from Nairobi and Mombasa.

Six destinations, one qafila
Regular safars to Iraq, the Haramain, Misr, Yemen and Hind, with a growing khidmat team and this new home online.

Appointed by Aqa Moula TUS in directives dated 26 August 2026, read to the jamaat in Nairobi and Mombasa on 5 September 2026, for a term ending 30 June 2031. Every trustee shares in all khidmat; the portfolio named is the one he carries.

Khidmat & volunteering
Khidmat & volunteering
Every qafila is carried by volunteers: doctors and nurses, luggage and coach coordinators, sabak leaders, cooks for the niyaz and companions for the elderly. Volunteers travel at a subsidised rate and are trained before each safar.

No mumin should miss ziyarat for want of funds. Interest-free assistance is arranged in confidence through the committee, repaid in instalments after the safar.
