Documents checklist
Bring originals to the office when you register. Uploads through the member portal arrive with Phase 2.
- PassportValid at least six months beyond the return date, with two blank pages.
- Passport photographsFour recent photographs, white background, 35 × 45 mm, no glasses; ladies in rida with the face fully visible.
- ITS card copyA copy of the ITS card of every traveller; children are registered under the head of family.
- Safai chitthiClearance letter from your jamaat office for Iraq safars.
- Vaccination certificatesYellow fever certificate for re-entry to Kenya; polio where required.
- Meningitis ACWYRequired for Saudi Arabia, issued at least ten days before travel and valid for five years.

Payments
Seats are confirmed on receipt of the deposit. Balances can be paid in instalments up to the balance date.
M-Pesa Paybill
Paybill 000000, account number: your 8-digit ITS number. Send the confirmation SMS to our WhatsApp.
Bank transfer
KES or USD account details are shared on registration; use your ITS number as the reference.
At the office
USD or KES cash and card payments during office hours; an official receipt is issued for every payment.
Qardan Hasana
Interest-free assistance is available so that no mumin misses ziyarat for want of funds. Speak to the committee in confidence.

Frequently asked questions
Who can travel with Faize Husaini Kenya?
Dawoodi Bohra mumineen with a valid ITS number, from any jamaat in Kenya. Children travel with a parent or guardian on the same booking.
How do I register?
Use the registration form on this site or visit the Nairobi office. Our team confirms seats on WhatsApp once the deposit is received.
Is ziyarat raza required?
Yes. Raza is sought through ITS before departure; the khidmat team assists every family with the process.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. After the deposit, the balance can be paid in instalments via M-Pesa or bank transfer until the balance date shown on the safar page.
What happens if I cancel?
Deposits cover non-refundable visa and ticketing costs. Refunds of the balance depend on airline and hotel terms; the committee reviews each case.
Are meals included?
In Iraq all niyaz is included at the Faiz-e-Husaini hostels. For other destinations the safar page lists exactly which meals are included.
Can I join from Mombasa?
Yes. Mombasa mumineen join the qafila in Nairobi or, on some routes, connect directly; the Mombasa desk will advise.
Do you help with visas?
We process Iraqi visas through Faiz-e-Husaini Iraq and guide you through umrah, Egyptian and Indian e-visas.

Visa requirements by destination
Which visa, what it costs, how long it takes — and which certificates each destination requires.
India
30-day tourist e-Visa for Kenyan passports: about USD 25 plus a 3% bank charge; apply from 120 days before travel; allow three to four weeks for a group batch; biometrics on arrival; Mumbai and Ahmedabad are designated entry airports. Yellow fever: Kenya is on India's endemic list — carry the original certificate, valid only from ten days after the injection; without it, quarantine on arrival. The High Commission route (about USD 100, 15 days) is the exception path.
Saudi Arabia (Umrah and Haj)
Umrah visas issue only after Ministry-licensed hotel bookings are lodged on Nusuk Masar through a licensed operator; the visa must be used within 30 days of issue and the stay is up to 90 days. Umrah and Rawdah permits are booked in the Nusuk app. From Kenya, meningococcal (ACYW) and yellow fever certificates are required. Haj goes through the Sigat-ul-Hajj quota.
Iraq (Karbala and Najaf)
Iraq now requires e-visas; visa on arrival is suspended for most nationalities. Pilgrimage visas are arranged through religious institutions and the conditions on group visas were tightened in 2026. Kenyan passports show as e-visa eligible; FH confirms the route with the Iraqi Embassy in Nairobi and the FH Iraq office before any KUN dates are announced. A safai chitthi from your jamaat office is required.
Egypt (Misr)
Visa on arrival or e-visa for Kenyan passports — the committee confirms the current rule for each safar before departure.
Yemen
Safars run only when raza and travel advisories permit; visa and route are confirmed with the FH network for each departure.
